Ariel Childs Books: Inspiring Children's Literature

Building Faith and Imagination
Who doesn’t love a good allegory—full of excitement, symbolism, and deeper meaning? One of the best examples is Pilgrim’s Progress—a story so rich in Scripture and biblical truth that its message is unmistakable. That’s the kind of Christian fiction we aim to write: stories that capture kids’ attention with compelling plots but never lose sight of Christ. If children miss the message, the purpose is lost. We hope our books inspire your child to enjoy great stories—and, more importantly, to read the Bible, pray, and grow closer to the Lord.

🌿 A Note from the Author
Hi, I’m Ariel Childs—author of The Island of Sheqer.
Before you read this sample, I want to tell you why I wrote it.
This story was born out of prayer, pain, and hope—and inspired by the wonderful youth at my church. It’s for kids (especially Black children) who’ve been overlooked or wounded and wonder if God still sees them. It’s for families who want stories that deal honestly with suffering but still point to truth, healing and redemption.
This is not a light, fluffy story. It’s real.
But it’s also full of hope, miracles, and a God who never forgets.
If you or your child are walking through questions of faith, injustice, or healing—I pray this first chapter reaches you.
Thank you for being here.
With love,
Ariel
